State Board of Regents President David Miles asked University of Iowa officials to provide the regents with some sort of report regarding the university’s efforts to curb high-risk drinking.

Miles applauded UI president Sally Mason for the university’s efforts thus far.

Mason called the progress a "true team effort."

UI officials revealed their three-year plan to reduce dangerous drinking on Tuesday.
