Beginning Dec. 1, Mediacom will increase several of its rates in order to keep up with the costs.
Increased rates include a $2.08 increase in Broadcast Basic, a $0.92 increase Expanded Basic, and a $3 increase in Total Family Cable.
In response to market demand, the company has added several digital-quality channels to Basic and Family cable, as well as increasing networks offered in high-definition format.
In addition, KGAN-DT will be added to digital broadcast basic lineup on channel 102 on roughly Dec. 6. A QAM tuner will be needed to view the channels.
On Dec. 13, Medicom will remove InDemand Pay Per View Channels 6 and 7, but video on demand will remain for digital customers.
