The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics will present an external audit report to the state Board of Regents at its monthly meeting next week.
Conducted by an independent auditing firm, the reports include financial statements on fiscal years 2009 and 2008. They will also include discussion and analysis of the UIHC’s financial activities.
One of the report’s overall findings is the UIHC’s net assets increased by $31.5 million in 2008 and decreased by $11.2 million in 2009.
