University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics officials will go before the state Board of Regents again next week for approval to move ahead with the Iowa River Landing Ambulatory Care Clinic Facility.
The satellite facility would aid overcrowding by moving 300,000 of the UIHC’s 850,000 visits, officials have said.
The regents did not approve the plans in February, asking hospital officials to come back with more information at a future meeting.
“I’m hopeful that there’ll be some further information on that developed by the meeting, but I haven’t seen anything as of now,” said Regent Robert Downer.
