Iowa City police arrested a second man in connection with a robbery and assault at a downtown nightclub.
Anthony Williams, 19, Coralville, was charged Wednesday with first-degree robbery and assault with intent to cause serious injury.
Robbie Taylor, 23, faces the same charges.
According to police reports, Taylor reportedly grabbed the alleged victim, who works as a door person, and threw him down a flight of stairs at the Yacht Club, 13 S. Linn St.
Williams then allegedly grabbed a box containing fewer than $500.
Both ran out of the bar, got into a car, and fled the scene, authorities said.
The victim identified Williams as the person who stole the money. He declined medical treatment at the scene, police said.
First-degree robbery is a Class B felony, generally punishable by up to 25 years in prison. Assault with intent to cause serious injury is generally punishable by up to two years in prison.
