Maria and Felix Vazquez ready to head out to town in Muscatine, Iowa. The two crossed the border illegally nearly 30 years ago and have since then made their lives in the small town of Muscatine, Iowa. Attracted to the US because of the job opportunities, they left behind their families and dreams in Mexico at the age of 20. As young adults in a new country they were never afraid to take risks and could only think of everything they had to gain. Initially the plan was to work within the United States for a few yeas or until they could save up enough money to continue their dreams in Mexico.
