Just over a month after getting selected by the Dallas Wings in the 2019 WNBA Draft, former Hawkeye Megan Gustafson has been released.

The Wings made the move on Wednesday – also releasing Kennedy Burke out of UCLA – to finalize their opening-night roster.

Gustafson, the No. 17 overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft, averaged 2.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in preseason play.

Gustafson led the nation with 27.8 points per game last season and ranked third with 13.4 rebounds per game.

In addition to finishing as a first-team AP All-American in 2018-19, she won the Naismith Award and was named the ESPNW National Player of the Year.
