When UI student, Erica Cole woke up in the hospital last spring after a car accident to the news she had lost her left leg she knew this would not stop her from living the life she had before. Once she got her prosthetic leg she was determined to do everything she hadn’t done when she had both legs, but now with one prosthetic. To add her own personal style to her prosthetic she designed and made her own thermal covering. From there, Erica began her own business to provide prosthetic coverings to other amputees.
