Authorities have requested a warrant for an Iowa City woman they suspect endangered her child.

Dava Bryan, 47, 3417 Jamie Lane, was charged July 15 with child endangerment causing bodily injury. According to an affidavit, Bryan admitted to having an argument with her 14-year-old son that led to her holding him in a choke hold.

Child endangerment causing bodily injury is a Class-D felony.
