A Coralville man has been accused of selling marijuana for $120.
Dustyn Prosser, 21, was charged March 22 with possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver.
Iowa City police conducted a routine traffic stop on Prosser because he did not have license plates on the vehicle, the police complaint said.
Prosser was interviewed by officials and was later found to be impaired on an intoxicating substance. He was then arrested and the vehicle was impounded, the complaint said.
According to the complaint, officials said they could smell an obvious odor of marijuana coming from his vehicle. Upon a search of the vehicle, officials located an amount of marijuana under the passenger seat.
Prosser admitted that he was taking that marijuana to a friend in Dolphin Lake. He said the person paid $120 for the marijuana and that was the amount he was selling it for.
Possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver is a Class-D felony.
