The Iowa City City Council will hold a public hearing on plans for the 2012 Muscatine Avenue Water Main Improvements Project.

The project includes installing a water main along the south side of Muscatine Avenue from Arthur Street to Scott Boulevard, according to city documents.

The project also includes installing new water services, removing and replacing pavement, driveways, sidewalks, and other associated improvements.

The estimated cost is roughly $937,000.
