Wells Fargo bank has asked the Iowa City City Council to install an ATM in the College Street Pedestrian Mall. The bank would sign a lease with the council that would allow them an initial period of five years at the location, which may be renewed.
The bank may renew the lease up to four times after the initial period, and each renewal would last five years.
The company may relocate its 112 E. Dubuque Street branch elsewhere.
City Council will discuss the proposal at Monday’s work session, which will be proceeded by a vote at Tuesday night’s hearing.
