Authorities have accused a North Liberty man of sexual abuse.

Majaliwa Kabandelwa, 31, was charged Npv. 2 with third-degree sexual abuse.

According to the arrest affidavit, Kabandelwa had sexual intercourse with the victim after she made it known she did not want to do so. The victim told officers, the affidavit said, Kabandelwa took off all her clothing and forced himself on her.

Kabandelwa has been taken into custody, the affidavit said, and a no contact order has been requested by the victim.

Third-degree sexual abuse is a Class-C felony.
