Co-owners Amanda Goodrich and Mariah Ruyle instruct during a Dance Mixx class at Iowa City Jazzercise on Gilbert Street on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022. Goodrich has been instructing jazzercise classes for about six years, and Ruyle has been instructing classes for 14 years. Weve both been instructors for a long time. So this seemed like a natural next step, Ruyle said. And its just been a real place of comfort, and joy, and support.
