The No.14 Iowa soccer team defeated Oregon 4-0 at the University of Iowa Soccer Complex in Iowa City on Sunday.
The Hawkeyes led in shots on goal with 20 to the Duck’s 7.
Iowa’s Macy Enneking broke the school record for most career victories as a goalkeeper with 39 total.
Graduate student Rielee Fetty put Iowa on the board with a goal assisted by senior Meike Ingles. Freshman Caleigh Collard followed it up with the first goal as a Hawkeye, assisted by Berkley Binggeli and Berit Parten.
After ending the first half 2-0, Sophomore Sofia Bush added to Iowa’s score, assisted by Berit Parten. Senior Delaney Holtey topped off the Iowa lead with a goal assisted by sophomore Abby Skiff.
Iowa will next face off agaisnt the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Minneapolis, MN, on Sunday, Oct, 27, 2024.
