Oasis Falafel celebrated its 20-year anniversary of being open for business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Attendees sat on picnic tables on North Linn Street and were able to talk with owners Naftaly Stramer and Ofer Sivan.
Stramer and Sivan started Oasis Falafel as a festival tent in the summer of 2004. It has since grown into an award-winning Mediterranean restaurant and business with retail reaching across several states.
“Thank you to the community,” Naftaly Stramer said. “We can say it’s all because of us, but it’s not – it’s because of the community.”
