The University of Iowa’s main library exhibit, Making the Book: Past and Present, featured a guest lecture by Dr. Suzanne Karr Schmidt of Chicago’s Newberry Library to provide context for the exhibit. DITV’s Ryan Lynch follows up with Dr. Schmidt on how censorship affected the books.
