The Heartlanders played their second game of two against the Wheeling Nailers at Xtream Arena in Coralville on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. The Heartlanders fell to the Wheeling Nailers, 4-2, after suffering a loss, 7-4, the day before. 

Heartlanders forward Alex Khovanov scored both of the team’s goals. Nailers forward Justin Almeida scored all four of the Wheeling Nailers’ goals. 

The Heartlanders will face the Wichita Thunder at home in Xtream Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021.
