Iowa City man charged with burglary

An Iowa City man has been accused of burglary. 

Muragizi Gee Semukiza, 31, address unknown, was charged Oct. 5 with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft. 

According to the arrest affidavit, Semukiza entered the complataint’s apartment on July 15 and stole a dog, shoes, clothes, and other items. The dog was later found in Semukiza’s possession. The total value of the items stolen was $520. 

Third-degree burglary is a class-D felony.
