Amanda Spencer, 37, was charged April 4 with failure to affix tax stamp, controlled substance violation, and endangerment/no injury.

According to the arrest affidavit, officers arrived at her residence due to a reported physical domestic assault. While officers were conducting the investigation, they noticed a strong marijuana odor.

After receiving a search warrant, officers located a large amount of homemade candy and peanut butter cookies that contained THC in the refrigerator located on the middle shelf, clearly in reach of her seven-year-old child. Additionally, the tax stamp was not appropriately affixed.
