An Iowa City man has been accused of third-degree burglary.

Timothy Messier, 37, was charged on Feb. 10 with third-degree burglary.

This charge comes just weeks after Messier had been charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and two-counts of second-degree theft. The previous charges are separate from this current charge.

According to the arrest affidavit, on Jan. 4 at Magellan Pipeline in Coralville, Messier entered the business at three in the morning. He was identified using security cameras and witness tips. Police were able to confirm it was Messier based on the mug shots from a few weeks prior, the affidavit said.

The details of Messier’s actions in the business were not specified.

Third-degree burglary is a Class D felony.
