Keith Duncan keeps writing his name in the record books.

After hitting his 26th field goal of the season — and third of the game — against Illinois on Nov. 23, Duncan slid into first place in Big Ten history for most field goals in a season.

Duncan previously broke Iowa’s school record for field goals in a season when he split the uprights for the 22nd time against Wisconsin on Nov. 9.

The Weddington, North Carolina, native entered the game with 23 field goals, which paced the nation. Duncan now sits at 27-for-31 on the season.

Duncan has scored at least 10 points in six of Iowa’s 11 games this season. He scored 12 points in three-consecutive games against Rutgers, Iowa State, and Middle Tennessee State early in the season. His 14 points against Purdue on Oct. 19 is his season-high.
