On Thursday, November 21, The Marcus King Band made their Iowa City stop in their “El Dorado Tour”  at the Englert Theatre. King is a fourth-generation and 23-year-old musician and has been performing for half of his life. With opening act Aaron lee Tasjan performing a unique take on folk music with fusion of “power-pop” and “psych-tinged sounds,” King took the stage and added a blend of American Rock, soul music, and the blues.
