Iowa City police responded to reporters of shots fired at 5:33 a.m. Sunday at 840 Maggard St., according to a release from the City of Iowa City.

Officers found evidence of shots being fired in the area upon investigation, the release said, but there were no reports of injuries.

Anyone with any information relating to the incident should contact the Iowa City Police Department, the release said.
