Authorities have accused a North Liberty man of advertising to sell marijuana on social media.

Pacific Achiza, 18, was charged July 19 with controlled-substance violation and second marijuana possession.

According to the arrest affidavit, in May, detectives became aware of a social-media account believed to be owned by Achiza advertising marijuana sales. An undercover officer arranged to buy three THC vape cartridges from Achiza, and Achiza was found with five containers of THC vape cartridges and THC concentrate.

Controlled-substance violation is a Class-D felony.
