Authorities have accused an Iowa City man of interfering with officers after being pulled over while allegedly driving drunk.

Jacob Henry, 36, was charged July 21 with interference with official acts and third OWI.

According to the arrest affidavit, Henry was pulled over for a traffic violation and refused to open the driver’s door when instructed. Henry had a strong odor of alcohol and tripped over the curb twice.

Third OWI is a Class-D felony.
