A warrant is out for a Johnson County man accused of failing to comply with requirements for sexual-offender registry.

Lattiney Lockett, 32, was charged with second sexual-offender-registration violation.

According to the arrest affidavit, Lockett failed to appear at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office after his release from the Newton Correctional Facility, violating Iowa Code. The affidavit also says Lockett has a “long history” of noncompliance and is a convicted sex offender.

Second sexual-offender registration violation is a Class-D felony.
