Authorities have accused a man of using a book of stolen checks at a MidwestOne in Coralville.

 Jesse Nicastri, 26, was charged July 14 with forgery.

 According to the arrest affidavit, Nicastri attempted to cash a $600 check at a Coralville MidwestOne bank. The account had been closed prior to the attempt. Nicastri was captured on video and showed his ID to the teller.

Forgery is a Class-D felony.
