A back-and-forth first quarter for the Hawkeyes ended with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from guard Makenzie Meyer.

Meyer’s three made it 17-11 Iowa at the end of the first quarter quarter at Bankers Life Field House in Indianapolis.

The 3-pointer was Meyer’s only points in the first. She is averaging 8.6 points and 3.4 assists this season.
