Iowa City man charged with possession of meth
Man faces 3rd-offense drug charge Authorities have accused an Iowa City man of possessing a walnut-sized amount of meth.

Ramon Duron, 41, address unknown, was charged Dec. 5 with third-offense possession of a controlled substance.
According to the arrest affidavit, Duron was taken into police custody on a warrant. While patting him down, officers found a small bag containing a cloudy crystal that was found to be methamphetamine. Duron denied ownership of the drug and suggested that the crystal had been put into his pocket without his knowledge.
Third-offense possession of a controlled substance is a Class-D felony.
