IC man accused of breaking into cars in emergency-room parking lot
Authorities have accused an Iowa City man of breaking into cars in the UIHC emergency room parking lot.

Glenn Dickerson, 35, 429 Southgate Ave., was charged Nov. 3 with second or subsequent offense third-degree motor-vehicle burglary, first-degree theft, and two counts of second or subsequent offense of attempted third-degree motor-vehicle burglary.
According to the arrest affidavit, Dickerson broke into a car and stole a woman’s coat, a GPS device, cellphone cable, and auxiliary cable. Dickerson then attempted to break into two additional cars before stealing a fourth car.
First-degree theft is a Class-C felony. Third-degree burglary is a Class-D felony.
