Tiffin man accused of stealing lottery tickets

Authorities have accused a Tiffin man of stealing lottery tickets.
Eric Burgess, 52, has been charged with three counts of forgery or theft of a lottery ticket and second-degree theft.
According to an arrest affidavit, Burgess reached behind the counter of a Deli-Mart and took five lottery tickets, then redeemed them at a Kum & Go. The theft of the tickets was captured on security camera.
Theft or forgery of a lottery ticket is a Class-D felony. Second-degree theft is a Class-D felony.
