A West Liberty man has been accused of kidnapping and sexual abuse.

Andrew Craig Wilson, 33, was charged Oct. 15 with kidnapping in the first degree and sexual abuse in the second degree.

According to the arrest affidavit, Wilson met the female victim at a bar in Iowa City on Sept. 29 and offered to give her a ride to her residence after bar close. The victim regained consciousness in a cornfield, naked from the waist down. She ran to the nearest house and called 911.

Kidnapping in the first degree is a Class A felony. Sexual abuse in the second degree is a Class B felony.
