Authorities have accused an Iowa City man of stealing numerous bottles of liquor from a Hy-Vee.

Shay Henderson, 47, 1313 Keokuk St., has been charged with third-degree theft.

According to the arrest affidavit, Henderson stole from Hy-Vee liquor on four separate occasions and was caught on video and observed by staff. The total value of alcohol stolen was $1871.61.

Second-degree theft is a Class-D felony.
