Authorities have accused a Coralville man of using a juvenile to commit forgery.

Eric Flowers, 20, was charged Oct. 4 with forgery and using a juvenile to commit an indictable offense.

According to the arrest affidavit, Flowers asked a juvenile to commit forgery, and the two presented a stolen personal check to Great Western Bank in North Liberty. They wrote the check to themselves for $600 and agreed to split the check.

Using a juvenile to commit an indictable offense is a Class-C felony, and forgery is a Class-D felony.
