Juan Duron, 27, has been charged with controlled-substance violation.

According to the arrest affidavit, Duron was searched by a K9 unit after driving over a curb and across a grass embankment. Officers reportedly found that he had a plastic bag with a syringe, needles, and two vials containing Cyplonat 250, an anabolic steroid.

Duron reportedly admitted that the substance in the vials was an anabolic steroid and that he used the syringes to inject the substance into his body, the affidavit said.

Controlled-substance violation is a Class-D felony.
