Monday marked the U.S. Constitution’s 231st birthday. The Constitution was signed by our Founding Fathers in Philadelphia in 1787. University of Iowa Army ROTC cadets volunteered to read the document at the Old Capitol, and the cadets took turns reading for spectators. The event lasted roughly an hour.
