The University of Iowa issued a crime alert Monday night in regards to a sexual assault that occurred in the early hours of March 3 in an east side residence hall.
According to the alert, an unknown person entered at least two unlocked rooms in the hall, and removed a comforter from the resident’s bed, and touched a resident inappropriately before fleeing.
There is no description of the suspect at this time, and the incident is under investigation, according to the alert.
