- “Our running backs are a strength, and our tight ends are right behind them.”
- Said all running backs are healthy.
- “I do believe we’ll be better at the receiver position than we were in the spring.”
- “I think for us, recruiting has gone very well.” Believes there are a lot of positives at Purdue.
- Recruits will have the chance to play early in their careers.
- “We want to be aggressive in how we play, how we coach, and let the guys know that that’s our brand.”
- Wants to establish an identity in Indianapolis.
- Excited about Purdue’s tough nonconference schedule.
- Thinks the defense is ahead of the offense at this point.
- Noted last season’s stellar run defense. Likes where his current defense is at. “I like what I’ve seen so far on defense. It’s just a matter of keeping those guys healthy and fresh.”
