Area man faces sexual-abuse charge
Authorities have accused a Coralville man of sexually abusing a child and committing “lascivious acts.”

Michael Wager, 27, of the 1900 block of S. Ridge Drive, was charged June 1 with second-degree sexual abuse and touching a child’s genitals.
According to the arrest affidavit, Wager committed sexual abuse on a child under the age of 12. He allegedly touched his genitals to the parts of a child’s body to arouse or satisfy sexual desires, the affidavit said.
A warrant and no-contact order have been requested, the affidavit said. Sexual abuse is a Class-B felony, and committing lascivious acts on a child is a Class-C felony.
