The trip to Destin, Florida for the Emerald Coast Classic did not treat the Iowa men’s basketball team kindly.

After losing to No. 7 Virginia 74-41 on Friday, the Hawkeyes dropped another game on Saturday, although the score was much higher.

Iowa dropped its final game of the tournament to Memphis, 100-92.

Peter Jok once again led Iowa in scoring, as he had a career day. The senior scored 42 points, the fourth-highest single game total in school history. He also hit eight 3-pointers, which is one off the top mark in school history.
