The University of Iowa has issued a Hawk Alert at 2:06 p.m. today pertaining to a strong armed robbery near the UI Dental Science building.

According to the alert, the incident involved three black males with no shirts, who were all on bikes. They were last seen East bound on Newton Road.

The alert also states that public safety and university leaders are assessing the situation and will post further information on their website as it becomes available.
