No official numbers have been reported, but it appears space is running low at some precincts.

Caucus-goers may be getting closer than expected with their neighbors this evening.
While no official turnout numbers have been reported, DI field reports indicate this year’s caucuses could break turnout records. Overflow spaces are reportedly being used in Iowa City’s Pomerantz Center and Iowa City Public Library, both democratic sites. Similar reports are coming from around the state.
“My first time caucusing was in 1972, so it’s been about 10 times,” said Ina Lowenberg, 84, 10-time caucus goer. “We used to live in North Liberty, but we live downtown now so it’s our first time caucusing with students. It’s inspiring. It’s a great turnout.”
