Iowa senior Jarrod Uthoff was named the Big Ten’s Co-Big Player of the weekMonday with Maryland’s Melo Trimble.
Uthoff posted back-to-back career highs against Western Illinois and Iowa State, with 27 and 32 points, respectively.
The 32 points against Iowa State are the most by a Hawkeye player since Matt Gatens scored 33 against Wisconsin on Feb. 23, 2012.
Uthoff also snagged 9 rebounds and blocked 4 shots against the Cyclones.
The honor is the second of his career and first since Jan. 6.
