This weekend, Kevin Hart drew 9,000 people to Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Hart is an American actor, comedian and producer who has populated many screens through a variety of Netflix and Comedy Central shows.

The event was anticipated by many for weeks. During the first day of ticket sales, about 6,500 were sold and in the end, about 9,000 seats were sold for the show.

A representative with the Campus Activities Board, the organization that brought Hart to Iowa City, said the group is always working to find the biggest and best talent and getting Hart was a dream.
