Authorities have accused an Iowa City woman of abusing a child.
Kimberly Robinson, 48, was charged with child endangerment — serious injury on Feb. 1.
According to online court documents, Robinson was the primary caretaker of several children when she knowingly hit one in the arm and the hand three times.
The boy had bruising, redness, and swelling on his hands; he positively identified Robinson as the abuser, according to reports.
Robinson allegedly admitted to hitting the boy three times.
Child endangerment — serious injury is a Class-C felony.
