Iowa left tackle Brandon Scherff was named to the Football Writers Association of America All-American team.
This marks the fifth of five required All-American teams for Scherff to be named a consensus All-American.
Walter Camp, AP, Sporting News, and the American Football Coaches Association are the other four required lists, which Scherff had previously been named to.
Scherff is the first consensus All-American since Adrian Clayborn in 2010.
Overall, he has been named to nine All-American teams, the first Hawkeye since Larry Station in 1985.
