Authorities have accused a Coralville woman of driving while intoxicated.
Tammy Freidhof, 44, was charged Dec. 5 with a third-offense OWI.
According to online court documents, Freidhof was involved in a car accident and fled the scene.
Police later located her and noticed she had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech, and unsteady balance. She also smelled of alcohol, according to the police.
Freidhof refused to take any sobriety tests.
Third-offense OWIs are a Class-D felony.
