Authorities have accused a Chicago woman of stealing merchandise from Kohl’s.
Rosilyn Sims, 37, was charged Nov. 16 with second-degree theft.
According to online court documents, the Kohl’s staff and a Coralville police officer saw Sims take various items into a dressing room.
Sims reportedly left the dressing room with the tags removed from the items and the items stuffed into a duffle bag.
Sims allegedly exited the store without attempting to pay for anything.
The value of the stolen merchandise was $1,778.86
Second-degree theft is a Class-D felony.
