Former Iowa football players Jordan Cotton and B.J. Lowery signed contracts with the Cedar Rapids Titans Thursday.
Cotton was used sparingly on offense during his time in a Hawkeye uniform, serving primarily as a kick returner. He owns the kickoff-return average and longest kickoff return in Outback Bowl history.
Lowery started 13 games during his senior season and 10 in his sophomore year. He returned two interceptions for touchdowns against Western Michigan in 2013, an Iowa record. In his senior year, he ranked second in the Big Ten and fifth in the nation in pass breakups with 1.46 per game.
The Titans will kickoff on Feb. 13, 2015.
